So, I really wanted to paint an abstract painting with a yellowish cream colored background, light pink and red accents and green lines. That was my vision. What did I end up with? This....this interestingly ugly and un-motivating painting.
Kinda pretty, but mostly gross. It reminded me of barbie doll hair floating in the ocean.
I'm blaming the ugly mess on not wanting to get my freshly manicured nails destroyed. I pride myself on my finger painting abilities, and with a fresh nail paint job I couldn't dabble. I love how the paint squishes between the pads of my fingers and the canvas, but alas, I spent an hour painting these suckers last night and they are staying nice for at least another day :) So instead, I opted for the good old brushes and went to work fixing this ugly painting up!
And I have to say, I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with in one night! Especially when I compare it to the starting masterpiece.
